Mbizana Local Municipality is small town situated in Eastern Cape along the coast which consists of 31 wards. This is a town that is close to the borders of Kwa-Zulu Natal and has a very huge tourism attraction. We are the town that is born of legends including Winnie Madikizela Mandela and the late Oliver R. Tambo.
In August 2016 a new council was inaugurated. It has begun to settle down and form on its business of ensuring that services go to people. As a result, we are proud to say that as municipality, we have managed to receive a clean audit in the financial year of 2016/2017 as a result of hard work and dedication from our team.
We are proud of many municipal operations including the unveiling of OR Tambo statue, the launch of the RED Hub milling project, the partnership we did with the Canadians (Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc) and the centenary celebrations of OR Tambo that were held in Nkantolo recently.
This website will serve as a source of information for all government news, notices, announcements and tenders so that communities are kept abreast with government information. Jobs to be done within the municipality and all municipal operations including job post will also be advertised in our website so that service providers and people at large get access to information so that they respond appropriately.
I hope that our communities will be patient with us as we are working towards taking quality services to the people. We need all of you to help us in making Mbizana better for all, through the comments book that is provided at our municipal reception and through our social media pages.
Last but not least, it is my hope that all the information needs of our valuable stakeholders will be met by this updated website.
